Ryan M. Svoboda

Ryan is the managing partner of the firm and focuses on closely-held businesses and their owners.  Ensuring proper income tax compliance, Ryan develops and implements tax minimization strategies while maximizing benefits through tax credit and incentive studies, business valuations, and year-end tax planning. 

Ryan structures transactions involving real estate issues, partnership tax issues, business sales, purchases, and reorganizations.  Ryan works with clients in an advisory capacity on financial, tax, accounting, and strategic issues on an ongoing basis. 

In addition to being a CPA, Ryan is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and appraises operating businesses, family limited partnerships, and family limited liability companies for a variety of purposes including estate & gift taxation, ESOPs, business liquidations, and mergers & acquisitions.

Ryan earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Oregon with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics.  To compliment his Bachelors degree, Ryan has a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).  Ryan lives in Lafayette, California, with his wife and child.
